California State University-Dominguez Hills issued the following announcement.
When Women Lead and the Transformation of the CSU Presidency
Since 2018, the majority of the campus presidents in the California State University (CSU) system have been women. On Dec. 15, the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) “Women’s Leadership Workshops” series hosted a virtual event featuring three of these dynamic leaders: Cal Poly Pomona President Soraya Coley; CSU Long Beach President Jane C. Conoley; and Stanislaus State President Ellen Junn.
Titled “When Women Lead & the Transformation of the CSU Presidency,” the workshop enabled the presidents to share their experience and insights, and provided the audience an opportunity to learn and advance their own leadership abilities.
The panel was moderated by CSUDH Professor of History Laura Talamante, who serves as chair of the university’s Academic Senate, and as co-chair of the Gender Equity Task Force.
